Re: Driver Modules (for victims of the "No driver found" iss
Just some feedback. .. the widget works on the xoom...I needed to use cyanogenmod rom. .. that properly supports the widget.... only niggle is that instead of switching the wifi on it should create a simulation 3g signal I.e. "2g/E/3g/H" signs. That would be cool. If not then atleast restore wifi ...

Re: Driver Modules (for victims of the "No driver found" iss

Re: Driver Modules (for victims of the "No driver found" iss
OK well I think the device is recognising the modem but I don't think PPP widget knows which port to pick it up because PPP widget needs a port selection however in my dev folder there is no tttyusb files.... so which port is this 3g dongle connecting to? I done a dmesg in terminal and I saw the ...

Re: Driver Modules (for victims of the "No driver found" iss
OK I don't know if this is obvious but I'm using a Motorola Xoom, not a Samsung, why are you referring to Samsung? Is it the same driver module?

Re: Driver Modules (for victims of the "No driver found" iss
hi I am using the Motorola Xoom wifi only version and have a e173 modem from huawei. I can't get the modem to work.
I have the supposed module for it but I'm not sure it works because insmod command returns an error.
However the widget does not fail on this ...because it says port not found ...
