Question about Huawei E3131h-2

Post by minik971 » 07 Jul 2014, 15:04

Hi!
I have Prestigio PMP5580C with root and PPP Widget installed. I want to buy Huawei E3131, but there's a lot of versions. As I know, E3131s-2 is supported by PPP Widget, but what about h-2 version?
Someone tested it?
Please help. :)

With Huawei modems, the chances are excellent that they will work with PPP Widget.

Huawei has just recently provided a mode-switch command that they state will bring all of their modems into PPP mode. It worked well with my test modems (6 from Huawei).

The latest PPP Widget version (1.3.6) includes this change.

I can't give any guarantees.

I can only promise that I will look into any problems should they arise. But as I said, the chances are excellent (not only good) that there won't be any problems, at least regarding the modem.

No.

On Android, a different mode is used. It will switch to 12d1:1001 if all goes well. This is the dedicated PPP mode.
