DAB+ Radio USB

 

 

"DAB+ Radio USB" is an app for using DAB+ USB dongles on car headunits, meaning retrofitted car computers running Android. These usually have limited screen space and aren't always perfectly touch-calibrated

• Optimized for small screens, with large UI elements
• Simplified operation for less distraction
• No online features, works fully offline (means also no station logos)
• Display of thumbnail images provided by selected channel
• Display of full text infos provided by selected channel
• Current text infos can be saved to a file
• Text colours are configurable

Note that you need one of a set of specific USB dongles which are sold under various names. The best way to make sure you got the right one is to compare the device ID. It needs to be one of these:

• 0416:b003 (Vendor: Nuvoton)
• 0fd9:004c (Vendor: El Gato Software)
• 16c0:05dc (Vendor: Van Oojien)
• 1d19:110d (Vendor: Dexatek Technology)

Unfortunately, there are countless brands that put their name on these sticks. You have to make sure you get a correct one, so do ask the seller about that ID. They should be able to tell you.
