Is there any way to stop the widget from asking to access the modem after reboot. I want to always allow it to connect without me having to click accept/ok.
Note: I am running LineageOS 16(Android 9) on a Raspberry PI 4B.
I am requesting this because I want to be able to achieve a task without a screen. Without the user having to do anything.
I have an app that auto opens by default, it runs, it controls the gpio pins on the raspberry pi, it toggles led's on and off.
I have the modem connected via ppp widget and it works perfectly, but after reboot it will always ask me if it can access the modem. I need it to always allow/stop asking me.
It should connect by default to that modem.

Re: Auto connect: (PPP Widget 3 would like to access...)
No matter how many times I check the box to "always allow ppp widget to access...",
It will still ask me the next time I reboot the device.

So your choice is apparently not saved through a reboot, I don't know if that is possible so Josh will have to reply to you when he is back.

If you could even remove the prompt that asks if the widget can access the sim dongle, that would be great.
Even if you could send me a separate .apk file that has this. I would be willing to pay for it.
Your help and feedback would be greatly appreciated Josh.

I'm simply not able to remove this confirmation.
If your decision is not remembered then there is a bug in the system. This should be reported to the creators of LineageOS.
