Thanks for the report, those devices will be added to next release of the datapackage.

The switch message you have listed for E5377 is not a standard one, HuaweiNewMode should work and should be used for all Huawei dongles except for a few very old ones which uses HuaweiMode.

Thanks for that one too !!

Would you mind posting the complete output of "sudo lsusb -v -d 1782:0003" with that stick attached?

Hello

I have huawei e3372 detected as 12d1 155f connected with otg cable on carpad nu3001.
It doesn't work with ppp widget 2.
I have seen that i have to create a file in usb_modeswitch.d with name 12d1_155f
I put :
TargetVendor=0x12d1
TargetProduct=0x1506
HuaweiNewMode=1
in the file but it doesn't work too.

Can you help me please ?

12d1:155f is a new usb id not seen before and there are no google hits for it on the net.
How do you know that it should become 12d1:1506 after mode switching?

I have also an E3372 but 12d1:15cd. For me it works with latest usb_modeswitch and -J by becoming 12d1:1506. You should check the version of your usb_modeswitch. I was testing on Linux Mint and had to remove the version that came with it by default and make install of the latest version and make install of the latest data package.

P.S. While testing on my router, I somehow managed to put the device, but only once, in 12d1:155f mode. But that was only one time. All other times the device became for me 12d1:1506.
