Statically linked binary for IpCop v1.4.21 (2.4.36 kernel)

Hello,

is there a chance of finding somethere a binary version of USB_ModeSwitch with statically linked libusb library? The binary I found at:

stops with an error message "undefined reference to usb_detach_kernel_driver_np" when trying to switch my Option Globesurfer iCON into the modem mode. The reason is probably an old version of the libusb library on the IpCop 1.4.21 system I am using. Thanks in advance.

Is that a x86 machine ?

Yes, that's an old x86-compatible thin client (Geode CPU).

Well, here are two versions:

Fully static (libc, libusb): usb_modeswitch-static

Just libusb linked in: usb_modeswitch-libc6

The difference is size obviously.
