Hello! I'm new on this forum so dont be so harsh on me.
I have a problem with my Vodafone Mobile Broadband Huawei K3675 HSPA, I can't make it work on 64bit Ubuntu. I called the guys from Vodafone, and they told me that the Mobile Broadband they gave me doesnt support Linux machines...I know they're wrong, I just don't know how to make it work..
I also did this:
andrei@ubuntu:~$ usb_modeswitch -v 0x12d -p 0x1520 -M "5553424312345678000000000000001106000000000000000 0000000000000"
Looking for default devices ...
No devices in default mode or class found. Nothing to do. Bye.
andrei@ubuntu:~$ lsusb
Bus 001 Device 005: ID 12d1:1520 Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.
and it didnt recognize my USB Broadband device...
Thank you
Regards, Dan.
Ok, and where do I get that, because I dont have an Internet connection on Ubuntu, only on Windows 7 machine wich is installed on the same laptop. Also if you want, I can list all the commands I did to make my connection work. I have all of them stored.Josh wrote:If you install version 1.1.4 with data package version 20100826, then your device is supported out of the box.
