Is there any way to return back to the usb-storage mode after being activated the modem mode of a device?
I need to access the storage part of a device.

First sorry in advance if this topic is covered by any part of the manual...

The mode switch of my tool is never permanent. So on every plug-in you are in storage/install mode. You just have to prevent the tool from switching automatically.

See "/etc/usb_modeswitch.conf" and edit it to set "DisableSwitching" to 1 or "yes".
