Hi,

I tried to install/activate the PPP Widget 3 on my car device, the installation runn's through without any problem.
Only the the activation fails.
When the widget ask's to access the modem, a popup message say's Installation of local APK is not supported. Please use Google Play!

The problem is, I do not have the Play Store on that device, I use APKPure as my apk source.

Why need this app the play store?
And is there a way to install the app without using the play store?

Sorry, no exceptions there.
In the past, people have offered downloads of the app without my consent, and didn't bother to remove them upon my request.

However, in most cases you can post-add the PlayStore to almost all Android installations.
