PPP widget 3 - connected but no internet

Post by marioos88 » 07 Feb 2020, 17:46

Hello Josh. I am using your widget on my Android head unit. As i rooted it, i installed your widget to use a usb modem. Using widget 3, it connects but there is no internet. Near the key simbol of the VPN connection , there is a simbol : <->! . I tried the widget 2, connection is made and have limited internet. I say limited because waze and chrome are connected, google play store is connected but the download doesnt work, and youtube sees offline connectivity. I took a log of the connection in widget 3, hope it will help you. Thanks a lot !

Unfortunately, the log does not show any problems ...

Can you provide more information about the head unit? Like the version of Android?

I have the same issue! I have a PX6 head unit. I installed the malayask rom on the head unit in order to get root access and installed PPP widget. As USB modem i am using an Huawei E3372. I can successfully esatblish a connection via the widget but i can only access the Internet via apps like "PlayStore", "Spotify" or Google Chrome. When i try to use "GoogleMaps" it says that i am offline, same thing is in YouTube.

The symbol "<->!" near the key symbol of the VPN connection indicates that there might be an issue with the data transmission or reception. This could be caused by firewall settings, network configuration issues, or even limitations set by your VPN provider.
