Hello, I have an Intel NUC running Android x86_64 version 9, a Sierra Wireless EM7455 USB modem connected, and the PPP widget 3 installed. This post is intended to add to the knowledge base.

The modem and attached Sim have Android RIL drivers installed correctly. The modem is connecting to a 4g LTE service with good signal strength and quality as indicated by AT command data.

PPP widget 3 sees the modem and allows SIM configuration. Connection is not made, however, due to, supposedly, a missing chip set and telephony framework. This is noted in the widget log.

It appears that without the chip set and framework support missing, the widget will not work.
